Castle
Planta-Wildenberg Castle is one of the oldest buildings in Zernez. The tower is around 750 years old. Can you see the embrasures? The castle almost fell victim to the great village fire of 1872. Since 2007, it has served as the headquarters of the Swiss National Park administration. More than 40 good spirits are committed to the most strictly protected national park in the Alps. The three most important goals – protection, research, information – are at the centre of their work.
