Cluozza

The municipality of Zernez leased the Val Cluozza to the Swiss National Park back in 1909. This makes the valley the original site of the oldest national park in the Alps. The only hut in the park, the Chamanna Cluozza, is also located here. On the way there, you can discover the famous dinosaur plate on Piz dal Diavel with a powerful telescope. Next to the telescope you will see a cast of a footprint left by a dinosaur 220 million years ago.
